A Little About Me

“Bold like Esther, hospitable like Lydia, submissive like Mary, unafraid to have prayerful tears like Hannah, and consistently thriving to align my life with the very words found in Proverbs 31. Scripture is my daily bread, and I grow off of God’s consistent grace and compassion for my life. Conform to the world; I never will.”

My name is Miyah. I live in Cedarville, OH. And I am a sinner in desperate need of a savior.

I am beyond passionate and live in love and awe of the one who gives me hope - my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am far from perfect, but I am content in knowing that I am on the potters wheel daily, and will continue to be until I meet my Maker.

I adore thrift stores, op-shops, second hand and pre-loved goods, vintage clothing, old books, Polaroids, trinkets and little treasures. Delving into God’s word, devotionals, worship, prayer and journaling. Nature, sunshine, luscious green grass, daisies, owls, beetles and climbing trees. Bike rides on a summer afternoon, picnics and road trips with beautiful people. Live music, theater plays, long conversations, text messages and hand written letters. Freckles, curls, red hair, long eye lashes, laughter, hair ribbons, afghans and quilts, woolen socks, bear hugs, bunny rabbits and cups of tea. And certainly, meeting new people.

The truth about who I am in Christ:
People often confuse and misinterpret the person that I truly am. There is no misconception within my mind and heart- I am well aware that I am far from perfect, but I am also well aware that I am not far from my Makers hands. He is forever molding, shaping, chipping and editing me, His child. I am a great distance from where I desire to be, but by the grace of God- I am well on my way to reflecting His face, His light, and His love— Not my own. I am merely a woman after the Fathers heart, and no distraction this world can offer will satisfy me, for I am heavenly bound.
